SNES Platformers
The SNES was released in 1990 and had a lifespan of 13 years. The last game was released in 2000 and support for the system was ended in 2003. In total the SNES sold 62 million units and had 1.380 games (~300 Platformers).
Of course the order is not set in stone and varies for each platformer fan. However note that all platformers in the Top 20 are in the 8-10 region... all of high quality.
